为解决间隙公差问题或平行度或平面度偏差问题，可增大磁轨和线圈组之间的气隙。这在大轴配置中特别有用。但气隙大也会使电机的推力减小。推力减小时不是呈线性减小，连续推力和吸引力减小程度各不相同。
